Just because of the world we live in today, I wanted to say a few words about liability for the content within these pages.

Any of the scripts I supply have been written and tested by me. I give no guarantee’s that they are the best way of doing things, or that if by running them they won’t cause things to lock up or break. The code is clearly visible, so check before running it. I hold no liability for any issues they may cause. I’m trying to help people out with useful tools and ideas, I’m not a software manufacturer.

Feel free to use any of the scripts within these pages totally free of charge, if you want to give me credit, fantastic.

Under no circumstances should these scripts be sold, or charged for in any fashion. These are free for everyone to use and abuse and play with and customise.

I will gladly take feedback for any mistakes or improvements in any of the scripts, and I will credit any contributions where I can.

The information in the blogs is also meant as a guide. A lot of it is purely my opinion, or ideas, or details from my experience. This is not to say that they fit everyone or every system, there are a million ways to do the same thing, and a lot of them are going to be technically correct. I just try to make peoples lives easier and maybe push the boundaries a little.

So please don’t email me saying that some information you gathered from this site caused a catastrophic failure. I’ll be more than happy to assist with any errors you encounter, but I am not liable for any issues that come from reading these pages.

I should also add that I am in no way affiliated with NetApp, IBM, VMware or anyone else that I write about. These pages are purely my personal opinions, or nothing is official from any of the vendors I write about or the company I work for.

I am not a lawyer, or a scholar, so the above page reads as I talk (like most of my writing). Please accept my offerings with the goodwill and friendship they are meant to be offered in.
